Fitzrovia is the quieter neighbour of Soho, north of Oxford Street: media offices and galleries by day, Charlotte Street's restaurants by night, and a village feel around Fitzroy Square that the West End a few minutes away never has. Margaret Street sits at its south-western corner, where Fitzrovia meets Oxford Circus.

Oxford Street, Regent Street, Liberty and Carnaby Street are all a few minutes on foot, and Soho a little further. Oxford Circus station puts the Central, Victoria and Bakerloo lines at the end of the road, with Bond Street's Elizabeth line one stop west and Great Portland Street a short walk north for the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines.

The Fitzrovia Gem stands on Margaret Street, a few doors from Great Titchfield Street and three minutes on foot from Oxford Circus, on the side of Oxford Street that stays quiet after the shops close. Fitzrovia's restaurants and the BBC are a couple of streets north; Regent Street, Liberty and Carnaby Street a few minutes south.
