About the residence

Pelham Heights fills a red-brick mansion block at 13 Harrington Road, two minutes' walk from South Kensington station and next door to the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle. The Natural History Museum is four minutes away, with the V&A and the Science Museum a few minutes further on along Exhibition Road. The apartments are contemporary and run from open-plan studios to three bedrooms, with a front office team on duty day and night. Relocating professionals, families and visiting academics can settle in from three months at these luxury serviced apartments in South Kensington, London.

Inside, the apartments are finished in a calm, contemporary style, with wooden floors in the living spaces, tall windows and air conditioning throughout. They range from about 27 square metres for a studio to about 102 for a three-bedroom apartment. Every kitchen is fully equipped, with a Nespresso machine, and every apartment has its own washer-dryer. Bathrooms are modern, with walk-in showers. Selected apartments open on to a private balcony over Harrington Road, and a few on the upper floors have a terrace. On Harrington Road, a few steps from South Kensington station and Exhibition Road

Harrington Road is a short street of tall mansion blocks running west from South Kensington station towards Queen's Gate, with small shops and cafés at street level. South Kensington has a strong French accent: the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle is next door, and the Institut Français and its Ciné Lumière cinema are around the corner on Queensberry Place. Quiet garden squares and white stucco terraces are a street or two away in every direction.

The museums of Exhibition Road are free to enter: the Natural History Museum is four minutes' walk, and the V&A and the Science Museum six. Imperial College is ten minutes north, and the Royal Albert Hall, with concerts all year and the Proms each summer, fourteen. Bute Street and Old Brompton Road have bakeries, delis and restaurants, and Brompton Road leads east to Harrods and the shops of Knightsbridge, fifteen minutes on foot.

South Kensington station, two minutes away, is on the Piccadilly, District and Circle lines: the Piccadilly line runs direct to Knightsbridge, the West End and Heathrow, and the District and Circle lines to Victoria and Westminster. A pedestrian tunnel from the station leads to the museums, and Gloucester Road station is nine minutes' walk west. Buses from around the station run east to Knightsbridge and Hyde Park Corner and south to Chelsea and the King's Road.
