South Kensington is one of London's most handsome neighbourhoods, a grid of white stucco terraces and garden squares laid out in the Victorian era around the great museums and colleges. Ashburn Place sits just off Gloucester Road, close to its shops and stations and quiet once you turn the corner.
The Natural History Museum is ten minutes' walk east, with the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum beside it on Exhibition Road and Cromwell Road, and the Royal Albert Hall a little further north. Gloucester Road has supermarkets, cafés and restaurants on the doorstep, and the cafés and bakeries around South Kensington station are a short walk east.
Gloucester Road station, on the Piccadilly, Circle and District lines, is a minute away, with direct trains to Knightsbridge, Piccadilly Circus and Heathrow. Queen's Gate leads north to Kensington Gardens and the Albert Memorial, about a quarter of an hour on foot, and the Cromwell Hospital is under ten minutes west along Cromwell Road.

3 months (90 nights). Our luxury London apartments to rent come furnished and serviced, so a month-long project and a year-long posting move in the same way.
Nothing until your booking is confirmed in writing. Rent is then paid monthly in advance by bank transfer.
No guarantor, and no deposit held for a year. A refundable deposit covers the stay and is returned after check-out once the apartment has been inspected.
No twelve-month lease. Terms are agreed with the residence on your behalf, so the arrangement stays a formality and your time goes on choosing the apartment, not chasing the paperwork.
The stay runs as long as your plans do, extended a month at a time. Thirty days’ notice to your consultant, to extend or to leave.
One monthly rate carries the apartment, all utility bills, Wi-Fi, council tax, housekeeping and fresh linen and towels.
Your consultant meets you at the apartment, or arranges a keysafe for late arrivals. Check-in from 3pm.
