The address

On Welbeck Street, a few minutes from Cavendish Square and Oxford Street

Welbeck Street runs north from Cavendish Square through the southern half of Marylebone, on the edge of the Harley Street medical district, its red-brick and stone buildings home to consulting rooms, offices and apartments. Cavendish Square, laid out in the early eighteenth century, is a green pause between it and Oxford Street.

Wigmore Hall, the chamber music hall, is a minute away, and The Wallace Collection on Manchester Square is four. Marylebone High Street, with its bookshops, cafés and Sunday farmers' market, is a short walk north-west, while Oxford Street, John Lewis and Selfridges are all within six minutes.

Bond Street station, for the Elizabeth, Central and Jubilee lines, is six minutes' walk, with direct trains to Heathrow, the City and Canary Wharf. Oxford Circus, for the Victoria and Bakerloo lines, is about nine minutes, and Regent's Park is around a quarter of an hour north.
