Barra da Tijuca is Rio de Janeiro's modern west zone, a district of wide avenues, residential towers and shopping centres between the Tijuca mountains and eighteen kilometres of open beach. The apartments sit at its eastern entrance, on a quiet street a block from Avenida das Américas, the shortest hop in Barra to Ipanema, Leblon and the South Zone.
The beach is about a quarter of an hour on foot, with kiosks and cycle paths along the seafront, and the restaurants of Avenida Armando Lombardi and the Jardim Oceânico quarter are a little over twenty minutes away. Città América and Downtown, with their restaurants, cinemas and shops, are each under twenty minutes' walk, and Village Mall a short taxi ride.
The BRT stop at Bosque Marapendi, seven minutes away, runs along Avenida das Américas to Jardim Oceânico station, the end of metro Line 4, with direct trains to Ipanema, Copacabana and the city centre; the station itself is about half an hour on foot. Santos Dumont Airport is around forty minutes by car, and the international airport about an hour.

One month. Our luxury Rio de Janeiro apartments to rent come furnished and serviced, so a month-long project and a year-long posting move in the same way.
Nothing until your booking is confirmed in writing. Rent is then paid monthly in advance by bank transfer.
No guarantor, and no deposit held for a year. A refundable deposit covers the stay and is returned after check-out once the apartment has been inspected.
No twelve-month lease. Terms are agreed with the residence on your behalf, so the arrangement stays a formality and your time goes on choosing the apartment, not chasing the paperwork.
The stay runs as long as your plans do, extended a month at a time. Thirty days’ notice to your consultant, to extend or to leave.
One monthly rate carries the apartment, all utility bills, Wi-Fi, housekeeping and fresh linen and towels.
Your consultant meets you at the apartment, or arranges a keysafe for late arrivals. Check-in from 3pm.
