This stretch of Broadway runs up from the top of Times Square into the heart of the Theatre District. The Winter Garden Theatre is a block north and the Gershwin four minutes away, Times Square itself is about six minutes' walk, and the restaurants of Restaurant Row and Hell's Kitchen are a few blocks west.

The 49th Street station, on the N, Q, R and W lines, is at the door, and the 50th Street station on the 1 line three minutes away. Rockefeller Center is about six minutes east and Radio City Music Hall seven, Carnegie Hall eleven minutes north and Bryant Park twelve minutes south.
