In Bela Vista, a short walk from Avenida Paulista

Bela Vista sits between Avenida Paulista and the old centre of São Paulo. Its Bixiga quarter was settled by Italian immigrants, and Rua Treze de Maio, five minutes away, is still lined with cantinas, pizzerias and samba bars; the building is on a leafy street on the slope up to Paulista.

Avenida Paulista is the city's cultural spine. MASP, with its famous red-pillared gallery, is fourteen minutes away, and Itaú Cultural, Japan House and Casa das Rosas are all within fifteen minutes, as is Parque Trianon. The Hospital Sírio-Libanês is fourteen minutes' walk.

Brigadeiro station, on metro Line 2, is about ten minutes' walk and Trianon-Masp about fourteen, with Consolação two stops along for Line 4 to Pinheiros and Faria Lima. Congonhas Airport is around twenty minutes by car.
